Founded
The AI Research Society of Africa (AIRSA) was founded to advance artificial intelligence research, education, innovation, and ethical AI adoption across Africa through collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge sharing.

James Mane
Founder & President
James Mane is the Founder of the AI Research Society of Africa, a Ghanaian Financial Engineer, Budget Analyst, and a Research Professional. He holds an MSc in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University and has professional experience in public finance, investment analysis, research, and project management. His work focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence, financial analytics, and data driven systems to support economic growth, innovation, and sustainable development in Africa.

Albert Einstein Asante
Director of Communications & Media
Albert Einstein Asante is the Director of Communications & Media and the 1st Secretary General of the AI Research Society of Africa (AIRSA). He is an AI Prompt Engineer and Machine Learning expert with a strong interest in advancing the responsible application of artificial intelligence across Africa. Einstein holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Ghana. He has also completed certificate training in Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurial Skills. Passionate about the intersection of AI and healthcare, he advocates for innovative, ethical, and data-driven AI solutions that can strengthen healthcare systems, improve decision-making, and expand access to quality healthcare across Africa.
